• Unhinged

How does a girl go about trying to live a “normal” life filled with healthy relationships, satisfying work, and a hopeful future, when she’s been declared unhinged at just 8 years old? In UNHINGED, an original solo play, Madison Wray attempts a tonal high wire act by injecting whimsy, humor, and some wild fantasia into an examination of her experience being hospitalized long-term as a child. Wildly funny, heartbreaking and ultimately life affirming, UNHINGED invites audiences to revel in the truth that even life's most painful moments can be seen through a lens of joy “Unhinged” debuted at The Theatre School, in March of 2023, and played a second, limited run at Chicago’s Lifeline Theatre in January of 2024.
