Madison is a Portland-bred, Chicago-based, award-winning actor and writer, whose work can be seen onstage and onscreen. She trained at The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center with Susan Blackwell, Tonya Pinkins, and Celine Song (Past Lives) and earned a BA in Vocal Performance (opera) from Whitman College, where she studied with Dr. Monica Griffin-Hunter, and David Hyun-su Kim. Madison has an MFA in Acting from The Theatre School, at DePaul University.
In Portland, Madison was privileged to work with Portland Center Stage, Portland Opera, Anonymous Theater Company, Broadway Rose, Lakewood Theater Company, and Oregon Children's Theater, among others, and in television, film and voiceover. Her work on Portland stages earned her two Portland Area Musical Theater Awards.
Madison is also a writer: her 50 minute solo-show UNHINGED debuted at Lifeline Theatre in January of 2024. UNHINGED, directed by Carlos Murillo, is a whimsical, darkly funny, life-affirming stand up comedy-style solo show about Madison’s experience being hospitalized long-term as a child.
In her free time, Madison can be spotted strolling by the lake and listening to her little podcasts (cold bevy in hand), bingeing horror movies, kissing her dog, Mr. Chicken, right between the eyes, or volunteering for the National Crisis Textline. She is a member of AEA, and is proudly represented by Paonessa Talent Agency.
